Statement of Faith
We believe that...
- The Bible is the wholly inspired Word of God, the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
- All men are sinners with no hope of eternal life apart from the salvation which is by grace, through faith in the atoning death and shed blood of Jesus Christ.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God, co-eternal with the Father, holy, separate from sinners, was born of a virgin, died, rose again from the dead, is now exalted at the right hand of the Father, and is soon to return. He is the only mediator between God and man.
- The Holy Spirit is one of the divine Persons of the Trinity, who actively seeks to teach and convict men of sin, righteousness and judgement, revealing the things of Christ, indwelling and empowering the servants of God.
- Christ instituted the Sacrament of Baptism for believers and the Sacrament of the Lord's supper, which sacraments shall be observed by His Church till He comes.
- The personal, visible, and pre-millennial return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will judge this world and bring peace to the nations.
- It is the task of believers, the Church, the Bride of Christ, to preach the gospel to every creature, teaching and baptising those who believe.
